WHY EON, WHY NOW?

Cities are full of screens, yet few are used for art.

At the same time:

  • Digital artists lack platforms to reach local public audiences

  • Public space is dominated by commercial content

  • Communities want meaningful cultural experiences that don't require tickets

EON closes that gap… Championing Canadian artists working in digital, new media, light, and motion, and putting their work where it can be encountered freely, in public, at the scale of a city.

EON is a collective of artists, curators, and producers with long-standing ties to Canada's arts ecosystem. Together we bridge emerging creative practices and legacy institutions, bringing care, experience, and credibility to how digital art reaches the public.
